The Ordinance on the Treatment of Third-Country Nationals was amended on 12 October 2026 to reflect certain provisions of Regulations (EU) 2024/1352 and (EU) 2024/1356 concerning the screening of third-country nationals at the external borders, as well as Regulation (EU) 2024/1349 establishing a border return procedure. The amendments also introduce new information leaflets and forms to be provided to third-country nationals subject to these procedures.
