Ministry of the Interior opens consultation on amendments to law regarding screening and integration

Following amendments to the International and Temporary Protection Act and the Foreigners Act, on 25 June 2026 the Ministry of the Interior opened an online public consultation on the related draft ordinances:

  • These include proposed amendments to the Ordinance on the Treatment of Third-Country Nationals, introducing provisions related to the screening of third-country nationals, including standard forms for decisions refusing entry and ordering return, as well as information notices explaining the purpose, duration and elements of the screening procedure, the rights and obligations of third-country nationals during screening, including the right to apply for international protection, and the conditions governing entry, stay, return and relocation.
  • The Ministry of the Interior also opened for consultation a new draft ordinance establishing integration agreements to be concluded between the ministry and beneficiaries of international protection.
