Switzerland and Cyprus signed a framework agreement in Nicosia to strengthen their bilateral cooperation on migration as part of Switzerland’s second contribution to selected EU member states. Backed by 10 million Swiss francs, the program will support projects for housing unaccompanied minor asylum seekers, assisting vulnerable migrants with voluntary return, particularly in cooperation with the IOM, and developing a comprehensive migrant integration strategy. This initiative continues a first cooperation phase launched in 2022, also funded with 10 million francs.
