Erasmus+ funded research investigated human trafficking, also in Latvia

Go back to the Recent Developments Timeline

The association "Shelter 'Safe House'" is participating in the Erasmus+ project Film Making for Social Change (FLIMSY), which conducted a study on trafficking in human beings in Latvia, Malta, and Cyprus. Based on real-life testimonies, including eight detailed victim accounts, the study highlights challenges such as difficulties in identifying victims, limited public awareness, and the need for long-term support. The findings will inform the production of a documentary aimed at raising awareness and challenging misconceptions about human trafficking.
