Processing of applications has been suspended since 14 November 2024. The decision comes after the revised country policy for Lebanon was communicated to the Parliament.
The country policy concludes that violence continues due to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in the following areas: South Lebanon, Nabatiye, Baalbek-Hermel. However, it is noted that the level of indiscriminate violence is relatively low. There is no indiscriminate violence caused by armed conflict in the rest of the country.
