Go back to the Recent Developments Timeline

The ADERE project improved the Finnish Immigration Service's asylum decision-making process, since March 2025, by reducing manual work and introducing accelerated decision-making through automation. The ADERE 2 project, which will start in 2025, aims to streamline the processing of the final document delivered to an external customer.

The AMIF-co-funded Reservation Assistance 2 project introduced a booking system for asylum interviews, since November 2024. The system allowed for more flexibility and smooth reservation for interviews. The Finnish Immigration Service will implement, the Varauasapu 3 project, with AMIF funding, which envisages to further modernise the booking system for the personal interview, with possible automation requirements to be implemented.
