According to annual statistics published by the Danish Return Agency, in 2025 a total of 2,597 third-country nations were deported from Denmark.
Among the main reasons for deportation in 2025, 251 third-country nationals had rejected asylum applications and 241 were transferred under the Dublin III Regulation. Other reasons for deportation included:
- 1,080 persons deported after being convicted of crimes (largest group)
- 949 persons were administratively expelled.
