As preparations for a new legislative package on asylum are ongoing, the State Agency for Refugees (SAR) under the Council of Ministers held a working meeting with EUAA experts to discuss the new processes and mechanisms, as well as capacity-building of administrative authorities.
The newly-appointed EUAA coordinator under the Operational Plan for Bulgaria was introduced to SAR representatives. The Chairman of SAR, Ivan Ivanov, emphasised the need to build adequate administrative capacity to ensure sustainable working processes.
