The Complaints Mechanism of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum is an innovative initiative for the protection of fundamental rights, implemented at the national level.
The Fundamental Rights Officer, which is reinforced by the Independent Office of the Fundamental Rights Officer, ensures the collection and preliminary assessment of complaints about alleged violations of fundamental rights of third-country nationals.
Since the launch of the Complaints Mechanism on September 26, 2023, the platform has received more than 29,235 visits, while a total of 119 complaints have been submitted.
