Thirteen children and 51 accompanying family members were flown from Amman, Jordan to Zurich and Geneva with the support of Norway, using a MEDEVAC aircraft operated by SAS and coordinated by the Swiss Air Transport Service (STAC).

This operation follows an earlier evacuation on 24 October 2025. In total, Switzerland evacuated 20 injured children and 78 accompanying relatives. Before arriving in Switzerland, all evacuees underwent thorough security checks by both Swiss and Israeli authorities. Upon arrival, the children were transferred to hospitals in eight cantons (Basel-Stadt, Fribourg, Geneva, Graubünden, Jura, Ticino, Vaud, and Valais) chosen according to medical needs.

The cantons agreed in advance to provide accommodation, support and specialised medical care. Costs not covered by mandatory health insurance are borne by the host cantons or hospitals. The operation was carried out by the Federal Department of Justice and Police, the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Federal Department of Home Affairs.

The transfer from Gaza to Jordan was organised by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), with support from the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit.
