The Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia joined other 18 EU Member State leaders signing a letter directed at the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission. The signatories call for more decisive and effective European solutions on the field of migration.
Specifically, leaders emphasized the need to reduce irregular migration flows, combat people smuggling more effectively, increase the return of persons without a right to stay in the European Union and strengthen cooperation with third countries, fully complying with EU law and international conventions.
