Statistics Norway reported that 45% of working-age displaced Ukrainians in Norway (23,230 people aged 20–66) were employed, an increase of around 6,000 compared to May 2025.
Troms became the first county to exceed a 50% employment rate among displaced Ukrainians. The government attributed the increase to participation in the introduction programme, including the 2025 requirement of at least 15 hours of work-oriented activities per week, as well as language training, work experience and longer residence in Norway.
