The President of Latvia, the Chief of the State Border Guard and the Commander of the National Armed Forces visited sections of the Latvia–Belarus border to familiarise themselves with the current situation, measures to reduce pressure from irregular migration, the technical equipment available to border guards, and progress in implementing smart border protection solutions.
