Guidance published on safeguarding adults at risk of harm in accommodation centres

The Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration published a Handbook for Centre Managers, which focuses on safeguarding asylum-seeking adults at risk of harm in accommodation centres. It also provides guidance to all staff in accommodation centres, the International Protection Accommodation Service (IPAS), the International Protection Procurement Service (IPPS), the Irish Refugee Protection Programme (IRPP) and International Protection Support Services (IPSS). It provides instructions on identification and referral, as well as a checklist for staff working at reception facilities.
