Analysing statistics on return, deportation and immigration detention in Greece for 2025, provided by the Greek authorities in reply to parliamentary questions, Refugee Support Aegean (RSA) issued a summative report on 31 March 2026. According to the press release accompanying the publication, the figures reveal a constant practice of imposing the deprivation of liberty and deportation, as well as chronic dysfunctions in the review of the legality of deportation and detention orders.
