As of 30 April 2026, the "National Strategy for the Protection of Vulnerable Persons" was put up for public consultation through the platform www.opengov.gr. The strategy is the basic framework for the design and implementation of policies related to strengthening the protection of vulnerable persons. It focuses on the timely identification of protection needs and the provision of effective and targeted support, aiming at the immediate and substantive response of the competent services and bodies.
The strategy seeks to enhance access by vulnerable persons to protection and support services, improve coordination between competent actors, and strengthen the overall protection system.
