On 9 June 2026, the Greek Parliament passed a law on the Implementation of the Pact on Migration and Asylum. The bill was submitted to the Greek Parliament on 26 May 2026. Following the passing of the law, on 12 June which was the first day of entry into force of the Pact on Migration and Asylum, the Ministry of Migration and Asylum published Q&As on the Pact, to share relevant information with the public.
