On 16 September 2026, the National Development Fund announced that six framework agreements were signed between the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum and contractors for the provision of facility management services in the temporary reception and accommodation structures for asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants and related structures and facilities. The services will also cover other buildings under the responsibility of the Ministry of Immigration and Asylum, such as administrative buildings. The total value of the six framework agreements amounts to EUR 137.1 million excluding VAT for 2 years
The framework agreements cover the ministry's structures and facilities throughout the country, including the Regional Asylum Offices and the Independent Asylum Units, and include three main categories of services:
- Cleaning services
- Guarding and security services
- Maintenance and technical support services.
