Greek and Danish Ministers meet to discuss return hubs

On 24 August, the Greek Minister of Immigration and Asylum met with the Danish Minister of Immigration and Integration to discuss further steps in the initiative to create return hubs in third countries and strengthen European cooperation to address irregular migration. 

Greece and Denmark are part of the core group of European countries promoting the creation of Return Hubs, along with Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. The two Ministers discussed the preparation of the meeting to be held in Copenhagen on September 4, during which the next steps of the initiative will be examined and specific announcements will be made.
