25 Afghan offenders returned via charter flight to Afghanistan

A total of 25 Afghan men, subject to enforceable removal orders, were returned to Afghanistan via a charter flight on Tuesday 28 April 2026.

All of the 25 men are offenders who have been charged for serious committed criminal offences in Germany including manslaughter, rape, grievous bodily harm and drug offences.

This measure is based on the agreement between the Federal Ministry of the Interior and the de facto government of Afghanistan to facilitate regular returns.
