The Estonian Human Rights Centre concluded a 3-year framework agreement with the Police and Border Guard Board for the provision of legal counselling to applicants for international protection. The Human Rights Centre employs three full-time lawyers who, in addition to providing legal counselling, also represent people in court proceedings, when necessary.
The Police and Border Guard Board procures the service under the project “AMIF.1.01.25-0015 – Special Measure under the Migration and Asylum Pact: Provision of Legal Services in International Protection and Court Proceedings”.
