Renewal of residence permits for family reunification to submitted online as of 1 January 2027

As of 1 January 2027, the renewal of residence permits under family reunification for family members of long-term residents must be submitted exclusively online.

The full transition to online applications is part of the government's broader efforts to digitally transform and modernise services. The measure aims, among other objectives, to further improve the quality and speed of services provided to citizens and businesses.
