Croatia’s Nezavisni Mehanizam Nadzora (Independent Monitoring Mechanism, hereafter NMN) presented its report on activities carried out between January to May 2025 to its Advisory Board and the Ministry of the Interior. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Frontex Office for Fundamental Rights, the UNHCR and IOM, the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) and the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).
During the first five months of 2025, the NMN carried out 20 observation missions, which included 77 observation activities in 41 locations, and 22 interviews with migrants.
