UNHCR Bulgaria organised a training for 200 newly-employed officers of the Border Police Directorate at the Ministry of the Interior Academy at the Centre for Specialised and Vocational Training in Pazardzhik. Besides the basic principles of refugee law, police employees learnt about their role in identifying and referring persons in need of international protection.
