The reception network reached a new record of 36,205 places at the end of 2024. Still, around 3,000 single men were on a waiting list for a place. The waiting time was around 3-4 months.
The places for unaccompanied children slightly dropped, following a drop in children's arrivals.
The reception system also catered for a record number of families and women.
Most applicants in the network were from Palestine, followed by Syria. In earlier years, residents were typically Afghan - now they only represent 10% of the residents.
