Due to the situation in Lebanon, the CGRS decided to temporarily suspend the processing of cases concerning Lebanese nationals.
The CGRS will continue to notify the following decisions:
- decisions granting refugee status;
- decisions granting subsidiary protection;
- inadmissibility decisions for persons with a protection status in another EU Member State.
However, the notification of the following decisions is suspended:
- refusal of refugee status;
- refusal of subsidiary protection status.
This suspension applies until the CGRS has sufficient objective information to accurately assess the security situation in Lebanon and the risk of persecution.
