The CGRS has extended the suspension of the processing of applications from Syrian applicants until the end of October 2025, in light of the precarious and volatile security situation in Syria. It reported that there is insufficient information available to resume the processing of cases at this time. Only personal interviews and decisions for persons with protection status in another EU Member State will continue. All other decisions remain suspended.
