The Federal Council approved the Asylum and Migration Pact Adaptation Act (AMPAG), completing Austria's legislative implementation of the Pact on Migration and Asylum.
It also approved, with the required two-thirds majority, a constitutional amendment and accompanying changes to the Ombudsman Board Act, designating the Austrian Ombudsman Board as the independent monitoring mechanism for new border procedures.
