In 2024, there was a decrease of approximately 22% in the registration of new appeals to the International Protection Administrative Court (IPAC). 68% registered appeals were by foreigners from unsafe countries, with Cameroon representing an increase of 222% compared to the appeals registered in 2023. Only 1.38% of the processed appeals were successful. In contrast to 2023, applicants from unsafe countries increased by 45% and applicants from safe countries decreased by 44%.
