On 12 March 2025, the CGRS temporarily suspended the processing of applications by applicants from the West Bank who were not registered with UNRWA. The authority now had sufficiently objective, detailed and up-to-date information to accurately assess the protection needs of this group of applicants.
The CGRS communicated to applicants that if they have any documents that they have not submitted yet, which can support their claim, they should send them to the authority without delay.
