The Ministry of Immigration and Asylum published a factsheet on unaccompanied minors in Greece in August 2025. According to the factsheet, the estimated number of unaccompanied minors in Greece was 1,722 of which:
- 92% boys
- 8% girls
- 13% < 15 years old
- 1,233 in accommodation centres
- 184 in semi-independent living apartments
- 145 in emergency accommodation structures
- 154 in Reception and Identification Centres (RICs) and Closed Controlled Access Centers (CCACs) in the islands
- 6 in Controlled Accommodation Facilities for Asylum Seekers
The accommodation capacity for unaccompanied minors was:
- 1,745 places in accommodation structures (accommodation centres/semi-independent living apartments); and
- 156 places in emergency accommodation facilities.
