The Ministry of the Interior launched on 1 September the autumn call for proposals under the Border Management and Visa Instrument (BMVI), the Internal Security Fund (ISF) and the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), with an application deadline set for 30 September 2026 and EU funding of EUR 74 million.
The available funds are distributed as follows:
- EUR 41 million from the Border Management and Visa Instrument (BMVI) for Pact implementation, smart borders, interoperability and enhancing surveillance at the eastern border,
- EUR 2 million from Internal Security Fund (ISF) for information exchange, cross-border cooperation and crime prevention,
- EUR 31 million from AMIF for implementation of the Pact, developing residence permits processes and return related projects.
