Following the Decision of the EU Council, temporary protection in Czechia was extended again until March 2028. The extension will take place in the same modality as in previous years, with an online registration to extend temporary protection, followed by a personal visit to the Ministry of the Interior, where a new visa sticker will be affixed.
Importantly, the new condition on the fulfilment of military obligations does not apply to the extension of already valid temporary protection until 31 March 2028.
