The Chair of the State Agency for Refugees (SAR), Ivan Ivanov, met with UNHCR Representative Seda Kuzucu to discuss refugee integration and inclusion in Bulgaria. Kuzucu welcomed the SAR's pilot project on alternative social services for refugee children and emphasized the importance of services beyond reception centers for social cohesion. The meeting also covered legislative reforms, digitalization, emergency preparedness, and UNHCR’s readiness to provide technical support and expertise.
