The Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (OCMA) has launched the project "Introduction of Migration and Asylum Pact Procedures in the Field of Asylum". The project aims at improving the infrastructure and process management of the State asylum system in line with the requirements of the new Pact.
The Register of Asylum Seekers and related information systems will be modernised, creating a technological basis for faster data processing and more accurate process records. In addition to technological improvements, the project envisages the development of specific manuals and informative materials and the organisation of training for employees. A particular focus will be placed on crisis management skills and algorithms for action in the event of a mass influx of asylum seekers.
